My wife had her book group come over tonight to go over Sophie’s World, while I put the kids to bed. I didn’t sleep at all well last night and so I fell asleep on the floor next to La Serpiente, struggling to wake up at 9pm and go downstairs to be sociable.
Work has accelerated on the house, with the new front steps close to completion, the bathroom getting plumbed in, and the basement being prepped for flooring. So who knows what it will look like when we get back from the rainforest on Tuesday?
Work was slow today; I did some more handover as my role changes from next week, slogged through a few calls, tidied up some documents. Time for bed …
