Swimming Lesson #51

I’m certainly getting better. Today for my warm up I swam two laps of freestyle without stopping, and I managed to do a length of the pool of breaststroke with only nine kicks, so my gliding is improving too. 

My backstroke is still a bit erratic, in that I don’t excel at swimming in a straight line, but when I did four laps in four different styles at the end of the lesson, I managed to stick to about 15 seconds or less recovery between lengths. So all in all, that was pretty good. 

So in total: four laps of freestyle, two of backstroke, two of breaststroke, one of butterfly, four more laps and then one last headlong charge of freestyle. 14 laps, or 280 metres. That shouldn’t be as tiring as I feel right now…
