Too many buns?

One of my colleagues was in town from New York and wanted to try out Din Tai Fung, so I booked a table and drove us both there this evening, feeling vaguely lost as I negotiated the roadworks around the University Village shopping center.

We had a fun couple of hours catching up, and eating a vast number of steamed buns and vegetables, and after that I made the tactical error of going to Molly Moon for an ice cream, the ludicrous Yeti flavour, a combination of sweet cream, granola and … well, sugar, with chocolate poured on top. I staggered to the car after that, almost narcoleptic from the rush of sugar.

So that was a fine evening. Exhausted from all that talk, I went home for a disastrous Blood Bowl match, and then to bed.
