A Very Die Hard Christmas

We went to our local community theatre in Greenlake today to watch an adaptation of Die Hard, which is now something like 35 years old, the confusing movement of time in itself maddening.
Fitting an action movie into a community theatre could be challenging, but this was gloriously ramshackle, with water pistols and Nerf guns, more references to cocaine and the 80s than you could hope for, and although we had the worst seats in the house (far right of the stage, behind a pillar) so we missed some of the choreography it was still a wonderful hour and a half.

Then a freezing trudge back to the car, and home to bed. Early tomorrow I have my next run in the cold – it’s a good life if you don’t weaken.
