Flossing

I put together my waterpik today, a electric powered flossing machine that I hadn’t used since we moved out back in June. It was quite revolting, covered in dust from the building work, and as the outlet in the bathroom doesn’t work I have to plug it into the kitchen wall, but finally I can floss my teeth with a high pressure jet of water again.
The compressor is really noisy so in the past I didn’t use it in the evenings for fear of waking the kids. Throwing caution to the wind I had a go on it this evening as well as this morning. I guess I’m trying to compensate for eating all the chocolate chip cookies my wife baked today. Well, not all; I left a few for the builders…

The house continues to develop. The banging never stopped today, reaching a crescendo around midday, but the rumour is we’ll have joists in place by the end of the week, and all the framing done in the basement. I need to get restarted on wiring soon, yikes…

And in all this mess, I also managed to retrieve my banjo and play two games of Blood Bowl. Life is good, my teeth are clean, and I need to sleep…

  1. Great to hear things are slowly being uncovered. Who knows what other treasures lurk beneath the builders dust.
