I had a game of Blood Bowl in the Everett league this morning, so I drove up to the bowling lanes and spent two and a half hours there, then drove back, played with the cat and then went to Ballard to a "boardgames speakeasy" where we played a game of Epic that lasted almost four hours.
Part way through I had to step out and tell the girls their bedtime story, which Destroyer complained was far too short, so that’s something to compensate for tomorrow, before they have their semi-annual birthday party and waterfight at their grandparents’.
I’m exhausted, possibly as a result of picking up and rolling so many dice, or thinking about all the different rules for the different games. But that was a nice way to spend my penultimate Saturday away from the family.
Tomorrow, more playing with Frogmorton, less with dice.
