I woke up late today to find that the cat had taken a dump on the bedroom floor, my wife was asleep in La Serpiente’s bed because she’d been up half the night, and the kids were downstairs getting into their third hour of staring at the iPad, and were refusing to empty the dishwasher.
So, scrubbed the floor, no screen time for the next three days, and my planned trip to buy them all doughnuts evaporated in the morning sunlight.
On the bright side, we managed to clean the cat’s mess up without much of a stain, and this afternoon I got the remaining electrical parts for our renovation (well, I say that, clutching at straws because who knows how long the renovation is going to take?). But, like, probably all the light switches we need…
