Into the depths

Today we moved my chair and desk from the closet at the back of the house, down into the office ar the front of the basement. Finally instead of being crammed under the eaves I have an eight-foot high ceiling, so I can use my standing desk as a standing desk when I want to. Or rather, I’ll be able to do that once we’ve got the outlets working, the last little bit of the wiring escapade I’ve been on for a year now.
We took the girls to Target and bought more clothes, and then we missed a delivery by UPS (attempting to drop off my wife’s new phone) and then spent the afternoon waiting for my electrician, who didn’t show up because he was waiting for a lumber delivery: everything is about logistics.

Never mind. In the evening we watched Sonic The Hedgehog 2 as a family, and I astounded my wife with my knowledge of Tails, Knuckles and Shadow. Doesn’t everyone know about the computer game rodents that Sega popularized in the early 90s?

  1. So pleased you’ve almost moved down to the basement. It’s been a long time coming.
I also get lots of messages from UPS – annoyingly all scams so I don’t need to rearrange delivery !
