Tonight we watched Knives Out, a whodunnit with Daniel Craig and a whole selection of other high class actors. It was filled with twists, particularly as the culprit is revealed to us incredibly early on, and then twist after twist is layered on top.
It has Daniel Craig as a ludicrously accented detective, and it layers complexity upon complexity. I had heard great things about it so I was worried it would be a disappointment, but with each twist it got better and better.
With a film like that, it’s very hard to reveal anything without giving too much away. I’d like to rewatch it to see what I’d missed, but perhaps I should leave that for a while.
And now to bed. Three or four games of Blood Bowl in the morning…
