Our next door neighbours are back, after a long trip overseas, so we went to see them this evening, letting the kids scamper around and play together while we caught up. I had a couple of glasses of red wine before we shambled back, and then I put the girls to sleep while my wife went to her book group.
The kids went down fast, or at least slightly quicker than it took me to wake up, arm gone numb, next to La Serpiente. I went downstairs, lost two games of Blood Bowl, tried to sort out a 3d model, failed, locked my wife out of the house by accident, and that was pretty much the day done. Tomorrow we take Froggy to the vet for his annual check up, and to tell them off for listing his name as Frog Morton. Does nobody know how to spell?
