The girls had a sleepover last night, and although they were asleep by twelve, the house was in disarray. Frogmorton made his displeasure known at the mess in their bedroom by taking a dump on a towel (possibly teaching them that they need to pick up after themselves) and then I went out to take coffee and food to the homeless.
In the late afternoon we went to MOPOP, which I’ve not been to since it was the Experimental Music Project. There’s still lots of guitars there and a sort of shrine to Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana, but there’s also a random gallery of sci-fi memorabilia which was fun for the girls. Today was the first time they saw Ray Harryhausen’s stop motion animation from Clash Of The Titans.
MOPOP is kind of fun, but for a family of four it would have cost $100; through work I get free tickets, so I don’t think in these straitened times I’d have gone otherwise.
And another week goes by without any exercise. I begin to worry what this implies for my next race, coming this weekend…
