After the rest of the week, Friday went by sluggishly; I was in recovery mode, catching up on the things I’d failed to focus on earlier in the week.

Mid afternoon I got word that the tournament tomorrow was canceled due to covid, so that leaves the weekend wide open. Our neighbours are away for a week and have left us their car to use, so we’ll be mobile for a change.

Because I’m not getting my tournament matches in, I had a game of Blood Bowl this evening that I expected to lose: the first half went terribly. Then somehow the second half, after playing for several turns expecting to just lose 1-0, I turned on the luck and rebounded to a 2-1 victory in overtime. Sometimes the good feelings come out of bad ones.
