As if intent on stopping us sleeping properly ever again, both girls came down at five this morning asking to play Animal Jam, a game on the iPad where you train small virtual animals. As a result, we were in bits all day, and although I managed to be reasonably competent, I was chasing the end of the day and the hope of sleep.
Well, I slept about eight, sandwiched between both girls when they (blessedly) went down fast at eight.
Of course, then I woke up with a dead arm from having an eight year old lie on it for half an hour, and then wasted the evening rewatching Talladega Nights, and then La Serpiente woke up, so it’s all a write-off. Tomorrow will be better, I’m sure…
